Private Hand Building Workshops Celebrate, create and connect through clay (the skin of the earth) Celebrate special moments with a private pottery workshop designed just for your group. Whether you’re marking a birthday, gathering friends, hosting a creative catch-up or simply looking for something a little different to do together, this relaxed hand-building experience can be tailored to suit your occasion — themed or casual. No prior experience is needed, making the workshop accessible and enjoyable for everyone. You’ll be gently guided through a range of hand-building techniques including pinch pots, coil building and slab construction, with the freedom to create pieces that reflect your own ideas and style. The session begins with a warm studio welcome and demonstration before you move into creating your own pieces, with plenty of hands-on support along the way. It’s always wonderful to see what emerges when people create in the company of loved ones. At the end of your workshop, you’ll share your handmade creations — a lovely moment of reflection and celebration — before leaving your pieces with me to be fired and finished. Your pottery will then be ready to collect as lasting mementos of your time together.
