Service Description

Crafternoon Session– 2.5 hrs of Clay Slow down, get your hands in clay (skin of the earth) and spend a creative afternoon making something uniquely yours. This relaxed, small-group workshop is perfect for beginners. Rather than working to a set theme, you’ll be guided through a range of hand-building and slab techniques and supported to create one or several pieces of your choosing. Think keepsake boxes, trinket bowls, incense holders, botanical impression dishes or small sculptural pieces — the afternoon is yours to explore. Pictured for inspiration: A Medium-Sized Cheese Platter: Ideal for serving your favourite cheeses and snacks. A Collection of Smaller Bowls: Perfect for dips, nuts, or other nibbles. A Handcrafted Spoon: Adds a personal touch to your serving set. What you’ll learn: • Step-by-step guidance on hand-building techniques • How to shape, join and refine your clay pieces • Finishing techniques to bring your creations to life Participants typically create a few functional or decorative pieces to treasure. No previous experience required. What’s included: • All materials, including clay and tools • Bisque firing and glazing of your pieces • A small, supportive workshop setting Join us for a creative and enjoyable Crafternoon.
